7. Develop Relationships Ahead of Time

Know your clients and groups. The members at my gym all know me, and they know some of the other instructors. You should have these relationships in place before someone leaves. This reduces the shock factor since members will already know who you are. If there’s an established relationship, they will be more likely to stick around. – Angel Rodriguez, NextBestDay
