I find it very difficult to believe that any one group of people hates another group. Let me clarify, what I mean is that I find it very hard to believe that everyone in a specific group hates another. I am certain that some groups do hate others. We see it in crime. We see it in war, and we see it in genocide. There is evil in this world, there is no question about that. Perhaps I am naïve, but I simply cannot believe that everyone in a specific group is evil. This just doesn’t fit in my head.
There are many people out there that would perpetuate hate, they blindly believe propaganda. Personally, I choose to think on my own. I am not blind. I see things happening. I see it just like you do. However, for every bad group of people, I see people of the same group who are good people. I have a diverse group of friends, friends from every race, religion, neighborhood, and political affiliation. No one group is inherently evil. Even if I don’t agree with you, even if I don’t like the things you do, I cannot judge an entire group by the actions of some.
Some of you make it very difficult to defend you though. How do you not condemn the actions of these people? You sit silently and watch as they do their evil. I’m not blaming you; I’m just wondering how you can remain silent. If the majority of the group is against the actions of a tiny percentage, can you not suppress that minute percentage?
I absolutely abhor the Westborough church. I speak out against them often, I write against them, but I live in a country of free speech. I have no choice but to tolerate these people. Some of you come from other parts around the world, places where freedom of speech is not free. If your governments, and your people wanted to crush this opposition, I believe you could. What’s stopping you?Share:
